Uzbekistan Railways announced an increase in ticket prices for Afrosiyob high-speed electric trains starting February 1, 2026.

Prices will increase by 15% due to increased costs for maintenance and spare parts for high-speed electric trains, increased electricity and operating costs, as well as the need for further provision of services at the level of international standards, support and continuous modernization of the electric train infrastructure.

Updated Afrosiyob electric train ticket prices:

  • Tashkent – Bukhara:
    • VIP – 1 138 000 soums;
    • Business – 760 000 soums;
    • Economy – 509 000 soums.
  • Tashkent – Karshi:
    • VIP – 976 000 soums;
    • Business – 642 000 soums;
    • Economy – 429 000 soums.
  • Tashkent — Samarkand:
    • VIP – 709 000 soums;
    • Business – 455 000 soums;
    • Economy – 311 000 soums.

At the same time, the cost of tickets for the Sharq, Nasaf and Uzbekistan passenger trains will increase by 15%.

Earlier, it was reported that a train would start running daily between Almaty and Tashkent. Authorities plan to launch a high-comfort train on this route.
