The management of the Tashkent Metro plans to gift a baby born at one of the metro stations with a card for unlimited trips, the company’s press service reports.

According to the information, a special card is planned to be presented to the mother and the newborn. It will give them the opportunity to use the metro services for free for life.

Also, the management plans to reward the duty officer Naima Mahamadjonova, who received the child and showed an example of vigilance and courage during her service. It is noted that along with it, it is planned to reward a number of metro employees who participated in this event.

It should be noted that the incident occurred on October 6 at the Gafur Gulyom metro station. Using her knowledge and skills, Naima Mahamadjanova promptly provided first aid and helped the woman deliver the baby safely. The duty woman provided the necessary postpartum measures – she bandaged the baby’s navel and stimulated the baby’s respiratory reflex.

After this, the metro staff called an ambulance and the mother’s relatives. Before the arrival of medical personnel, the station staff monitored the mother and child’s condition and ensured their safety. The mother and the newborn are healthy — they were taken to the hospital.
