A service for 3D modelling of traffic accidents might be introduced in Uzbekistan

The new kinds of expertise will use digital technologies and automated programmes that remove human intervention.

In Uzbekistan, the press service of the head of state reports that they plan to implement services for 3d modelling of traffic accidents, as well as the examination of video and photo equipment.

At the presidential meeting on measures to expand the provision of public services in the justice system, it was noted that the Khadicha Suleymanova Center for Forensic Expertise conducts 64 types of expert examinations, but only half of them are available in the regions.

In this regard, the task was set to take a new approach to the organization of examinations and strengthen the material and technical base of regional examination centers, thereby increasing the number of types of examinations from 15 to 25.

When implementing new types of expertise, digital technologies and automated programs that exclude the influence of the human factor will be widely used. The exchange of documents between the bodies of inquiry, investigation, and expert institutions will be fully transferred to electronic format.

It is planned to introduce services such as 3D modelling of the accident scene, and the examination of video and photographic equipment. Additionally, proposals were supported to broaden the activities of non-state forensic examinations, grant them the right to operate independently through separate bureaus, and establish the Chamber of Forensic Experts of Uzbekistan.
