A powerful flash was observed on the Sun

The phenomenon can induce a magnetic storm on Earth.

On 5 September, scientists recorded a penultimate power-class flare on the Sun, TASS reports.

Based on the information, the M1.4 outbreak was recorded on 5 September at 06:16 Tashkent time, lasting for 13 minutes. Solar flares are classified into five categories depending on the strength of X-ray radiation: A, B, C, M, and X.

It is observed that flashes can be accompanied by emissions of solar plasma, and the clouds of such plasma, upon reaching the Earth, can trigger magnetic storms.

Earlier, it was reported that the summer of 2025 was warmer than usual. July proved to be the hottest.
