Uzbekistan won two more medals at the World Aquatics Championships

The Uzbekistan national team won another medal at the Asian Aquatics Championships, according to the NOC press service.

According to the information, the event is taking place in India. Vyacheslav Kachanov brought the second medal to the country. The athlete won the prize in the three-meter jump program, where he managed to score 368.85 points. The athlete took third place and won a bronze medal.

It should be noted that the national team won the first medals of the tournament in the men’s competition. In the men’s 1500m freestyle final, Ilya Sibirsev finished second with a time of 15:23.35 and was awarded the silver medal. Also, in the triple jump, Igor Myalin and Vyacheslav Kachanov won bronze medals.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbek athlete Yegor Bolotov became the world champion in para-swimming. The Paralympian surpassed all his opponents and brought the second medal to the national team’s collection.
