Uzbekistan tops World Boxing rankings

The Uzbekistan national team took first place in the World Boxing Organization’s new ranking, according to data published on the organization’s social networks.

According to the ranking, Uzbek athletes became leaders in six weight categories out of ten, securing first place for the national team. Abdumalik Khalokov, Asadkhodja Muydinhodjaev, Fazliddin Erkinboev, Jahongir Ummataliev, Akmaljon Isroilov, and Turabek Khabibullaev took the leading positions.

The second place was taken by the Kazakhstan national team, whose representatives also managed to take the leading positions in the remaining four positions. Thus, Sanjar Tashkenbay, Mahmud Sobirkhan, Turahan Sobirkhan, and Aibek Oralbay became leaders.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbek athletes won first place at the Asian Boxing Championships. The national team managed to win 13 medals.
