Uzbekistan lost its position in the FIFA rankings
The Republic remains a leader among the CA countries.

The Uzbekistan national football team lost one spot in the International Football Federation (FIFA) rankings, according to the organization.
According to the information, the national team scored 1452.34 points and finished 55th, losing to Cameroon. At the same time, the national team is still leading among the teams from other Central Asian countries. In the world, the country’s national team managed to surpass the teams of Africa, Ireland, and the UAE.
In general, the countries of Central Asia are located as follows:
- Tajikistan — 102nd place;
- Kyrgyzstan — 105th place;
- Kazakhstan — 115th place;
- Turkmenistan — 142nd place.
The association’s ranking consists of 210 teams, with Spain, Argentina, and France leading the way. The San Marino team closes the rankings.
Earlier, it was reported that the FIFA U-20 World Cup will be held in Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have had the opportunity to host the youth mundial, which is considered the second most important FIFA competition among national teams after the main World Cup.
