Uzbek cyclists finished the ASEAN Track Series with 4 medals, according to the NOC press service.
The first stage of the ASEAN Track Series cycling competition concluded in the Malaysian city of Nilay. According to its results, the Uzbekistan national team won 3 gold and 1 bronze medal.
Gold medals:
- Sergey Rostovtsev (omnium);
- Sergey Rostovtsev (scratch);
- Sergey Rostovtsev (elimination).
Bronze medal:
- Nafosat Kozieva (elimination).
Now the compatriots will continue their performances in the second stage of the competition, which will be held in the same city on January 10-11.
As a reminder, the Uzbek athlete won a gold medal at the equestrian tournament in Abu Dhabi. Bekzod Kurbonov achieved this success on the route with 135 cm of obstacles.
