The new opponent of the two-time Olympic champion in boxing, Hasanboy Dusmatov, will be Mexican boxer Rene Kalisto.
According to the information, the boxers will compete as part of the tournament, which will be held on October 25-26 in Bishkek. It is noted that Hasanboy Dusmatov has not lost a single of his seven fights in the professional ring so far. His opponent, Rene Kalisto, has 23 wins, one loss, and one draw.
It should be noted that boxing will be included in the program of the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The International Boxing Federation (World Boxing) will develop Olympic boxing and strengthen its position in the international arena.
Earlier, it was reported that Navbahor Hamidova won gold at the World Boxing Cup in Astana. The athlete became the first Uzbek boxer to win a gold medal at this prestigious tournament.
