Timur Kapadze can lead the Indonesian national football team

Along with the former head of the national team, two more specialists are being considered.

The ex-head of the Uzbekistan national football team, Timur Kapadze, could take charge of the Indonesian national team, Goal Media reports.

According to the information, the Indonesian Football Federation is discussing three candidates: Timur Kapadze, Thomas Doll, and the former Iraqi national team coach, Spaniard Jesus Kasas.

The final decision on the appointment of a new coach is expected in the coming days. The Indonesian national team was left without a coach after Patrick Kluivert terminated the contract by mutual consent.

If appointed, Timur Kapadze will become one of the first Uzbek coaches to lead the Southeast Asian national team.

As a reminder, Italian specialist Fabio Cannavaro has been appointed head coach of the Uzbekistan national team. He has already shared his plans for working with the team, talked about preparation, tactics development, and shared his experience in interacting with local specialists.
