97 athletes from 7 countries participated in the competition.

Uzbekistan’s athletes won 19 medals at the Central Asian Badminton Championship and took second place in the medal standings, according to the NOC press service.
According to the information, the event was held in Tashkent. 97 athletes from 7 countries competed in the U15, U17, and U23 age categories in individual, pair, mixed, and team categories.
As a result, the national team managed to win 2 gold, 7 silver, and 10 bronze medals, securing second place in the medal standings after Iran.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan won gold at the World Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling for the first time in 24 years. Aitjan Khalmakhanov won the honorary award.
