The President of Uzbekistan presented an apartment to the Greco-Roman wrestler Aitzhan Kholmakhanov, the press service of the Tashkent region’s khokimiyat reports.
Спортсмен стал первым чемпионом мира из Узбекистана по этому виду спорта за последние 24 года. Трехкомнатная квартира находится в городе Нурафшане Ташобласти. Ключи от нее торжественно вручил сам хоким области Зоир Мирзаев. Всего сборная республики завоевала 1 золотую, 1 серебряную и 3 бронзовые медали.
The young athlete, with his exceptional perseverance and determination, upholds the honor of the country in the international arena, strives for high achievements, and serves as a great example and model for young people. As a reminder, the compatriot competed in the -63 kg weight category. In the final match, he defeated Chung Han-je (Korea). This was the first gold medal for Uzbek Greco-Roman wrestlers at a world championship in 24 years.
