The Uzbekistan Boxing Championship has begun in Tashkent, the NOC press service reports.
According to the information, the championship will be held among men and women. The competition, which will last until January 22, will be attended by 278 athletes representing all regions of the country.
Qualifying matches will be held from January 15th to 19th, with the semi-final and final matches taking place from January 21st to 22nd. The competition is taking place in the “Olympic Town”.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbek athletes won first place at the Asian Boxing Championships. The national team managed to win 13 medals.
