Fabio Cannavaro has officially become head coach of the Uzbekistan national team
It has become clear who will be in the Italian manager's coaching staff.

Italian specialist Fabio Cannavaro has become the new head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team, the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) press service reports.
The UFA signed Fabio Cannavaro — a three-time World Cup participant, 2006 World Cup champion, one of the best defenders of the recent past, and a renowned specialist. Cannavaro will prepare the team for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Cannavaro’s coaching staff included:
- Eugenio Albarella — assistant coach (worked for the Japanese national team, Juventus, Udinese, and Dinamo Zagreb);
- Francesco Troise — physical training coach (worked in Benevento, Udineze, and Dynamo Zagreb);
- Antonio Kimenti — is the goalkeeper coach (he has worked for the Italian youth national team, Sampdoria and SPAL).
