The Head of State awarded the honorary title to Javokhir Sindarov, a member of the Uzbekistan national chess team, for his contribution to the further development of chess in the country and achieving results at the world level. Another presidential gift for the athlete will be a three-room apartment. In addition, his coaches will receive monetary rewards.
Earlier, it was reported that the Uzbek chess player received a ticket to the Candidates tournament for the first time in history. Javokhir Sindarov advanced to the World Cup final.
