Which banks will operate on long weekends?
Currency exchange will be available at the local level through ATMs.
The Central Bank provided a list of commercial banks in Uzbekistan whose branches will operate on weekends and holidays on Constitution Day.
According to the information, currency exchange and money transfer points will be opened in the branches of 25 banks. The list includes:
- Agrobank
- Аpexbank;
- Asia Alliance bank;
- Business Development Bank;
- Ipoteka bank;
- NBU;
- Tenge bank;
- Trastbank;
- Hamkorbank;
- Anor bank;
- Asakabank;
- Garant bank;
- Hayot bank;
- InfinBank;
- Saderat bank;
- Universalbank;
- Turonbank;
- Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank;
- Kapitalbank;
- Orient Finans bank;
- Mikrokreditbank;
- Ipak Yuli Bank;
- Poytaxt bank;
- Aloqabank;
- People’s Bank.
Currency exchange will also be available through ATMs operating in 24/7 mode and via commercial banks’ mobile applications.
Earlier, it was reported that due to Constitution Day, Uzbekistanis will rest for three days: December 6th (for workers with a five-day work week), as well as December 7th and 8th.
