Uzbeks earn more than six million soums on average — statistics
The growth of the total salary over the year amounted to about 20%.

Since the beginning of 2025, the average monthly nominal wage in Uzbekistan has increased to 6.1 million soums, according to a report by the Statistics Committee.
According to the data, compared to the same period last year, the growth was 19.2%. Residents of Tashkent continue to earn the most — the average monthly salary is estimated at 10.3 million soums (18.7% increase).
Navoi region is in second place with 7.6 million soums (+15.1%), followed by Tashkent region with 5.8 million soums (+17.3%).
Earlier, it was reported that the minimum wage in Uzbekistan turned out to be one of the lowest among the countries of the region. Experts warned that lagging behind neighbors could lead to a decrease in the purchasing power of labor market participants in the country.
