Uzbekistanis will receive trillion soums in cashback for 2025
The largest sums were received by residents of Tashkent and Tashkent region.
Since the beginning of 2025, over 906.6 billion soums in cashback payments have been made in Uzbekistan, according to the State Tax Committee’s press service.
According to the information, in August 2025, consumers received more than 99.8 billion soums in cashback. In addition, the department reported that during this time, another 121.8 million checks were registered in the Soliq mobile application. It is noted that the largest amounts of cashback in the last month of summer were received by Tashkent residents — 41.8 billion soums.
In total, from January to August, residents of the capital received 373 billion 728 soums in cashback. In second place were residents of the Tashkent region, who received 8.2 billion soums for August. The remaining regions ranked as follows:
- Fergana region — 7.1 billion soums;
- Samarkand region — 6.9 billion soums;
- Namangan region — 5.2 billion soums.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbeks could start receiving cashback from purchasing housing. They aim to implement a measure to tackle the shadow economy.
