According to information, they amounted to $59.3 billion by this date, and 61.2 billion soums at the beginning of December. It is noted that this became a record figure for the entire period of statistics.
In addition, the regulator reported that the physical volume of gold amounted to 12.2 million troy ounces, the value — 50.8 billion dollars. At the same time, foreign exchange reserves amounted to $8.2 billion.
Earlier, it was reported that one and a half billion worth of jewelry was attempted to be smuggled into Fergana. More than a kilogram of gold items were attempted to be transported without customs control.
