Ups and downs: How has the dollar changed in a week?

The editorial staff decided to calculate the change in foreign exchange rates for the week from October 20 to October 27.

Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of the week were as follows:

• US dollar – 12,108.24 soums;
• Euro – 14,169.06 soums;
• Pound sterling – 16,268.63 soums;
• Ruble – 149.10 soums;
• Yuan – 1,699.09 soums;
• Иена — 80,90 сумов;
• Tenge – 22.52 soums.

During the week, the quotes underwent some changes. The euro and pound fell the most, the dollar and yuan slightly appreciated, while the tenge remained unchanged:

• The dollar – 12,117.35 soums, an increase of 9.11 soums per week;
• Euro – 14,069.46 soums, a decrease of 99.60 soums per week;
• Pound – 16,142.73 soums, decrease over the week – 125.90 soums;
• Ruble – 149.49 soums, an increase of 0.39 soums per week;
• Yuan – 1,701.23 soums, an increase of 2.14 soums per week;
• Yen – 79.21 sum, decrease per week – 1.69 sum;
• Tenge – 22.52 soums, no change.
