Trillion soums will be distributed to Uzbek citizens before the frosts — categories of citizens
More than a million citizens will receive assistance.

In Uzbekistan, 1.1 million families are expected to receive 1 million soums in material assistance for the heating season in 2025, according to the National Social Protection Agency.
According to the information, 822 thousand of them are registered in the social registry, and another 290 thousand citizens were additionally identified through the “Mahalla seven” system. It is noted that the additional list will include 10 more categories of families:
- families with a disabled person — 76.3 thousand;
- families living only on pensions — 69.7 thousand;
- families whose breadwinners are in labor migration — 34.7 thousand;
- those who have lost their breadwinner — 33.8 thousand;
- families in which a person with a serious illness lives — 23.7 thousand;
- single elderly people — 7 thousand;
- families not connected to the gas network — 2 thousand;
- more than three families living in one house — 26.2 thousand;
- temporarily unemployed — 15.1 thousand;
- Single residents — 2.3 thousand.
It is noted that within the framework of this program, the authorities plan to allocate a total of 1.2 trillion soums from the State Budget.
Earlier, it was reported that some women in Uzbekistan would be compensated for their rental housing. The country will begin supporting the poor in a new way.
