In November, a one-off financial aid of 1 million soums will be provided to assist low-income families during the heating season, the National Social Protection Agency reported.

The Agency listed the categories of families who can count on payment:

  • families receiving child benefits or material assistance through the “Unified Register of Social Protection”;
  • families from the “Register of Low-Income Families”;
  • families included in the additional list formed by the “Mahalla Seven.”

The following families are included in the supplementary list in priority order:

  • those who have lost their breadwinner;
  • having a disabled person of group I or II;
  • those raising a child with a disability;
  • living in apartment buildings without a heating system;
  • in which three or more families live in one house;
  • those caring for a seriously ill patient;
  • lonely elderly people or persons with disabilities.

Citizens belonging to these categories must apply to the “Mahalla Seven” by September 25 of this year.

Earlier, Veolia Energy addressed the residents of Tashkent amid preparations for the heating season. The company also warned about possible damage to the pipeline.
