The editorial staff decided to calculate the change in foreign exchange rates for the week from January 12 to January 19.

Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of the week were as follows:

  • Dollar — 12 131,55 soums;
  • Euro — 14 124,76 soums;
  • Pound — 16 268,41 soums;
  • Ruble — 153,54 soums;
  • Yuan — 1 737,27 soums;
  • Yen — 76,92 soums.

During the week, the quotes underwent some changes. The pound sterling and euro fell most strongly, while the ruble appreciated:

  • Dollar — 11,962.78 soums, decreasing by 168.77 soums per week;
  • Euro — 13,887.59 soums, decrease over the week – 237.17 soums;
  • Pound — 16,026.54 soums, decrease over the week — 241.87 soums;
  • Ruble — 153.94 soums, an increase of 0.40 soums per week.
  • Yuan — 1,716.50 soums, a decrease of 20.77 soums per week;
  • Yen — 75.62 soums, decrease by 1.30 soums per week.
