Satellite communication operators will receive tax relief
The authorities provided benefits for several years.

In Uzbekistan, tax benefits will be introduced for satellite operators for five years, the press service of the Tax Committee reports.
According to the information, the authorities will introduce such a practice for projects related to the creation of medium and low-orbit satellite communication networks through the central terrestrial station in the country. In particular, services provided by operators through the satellite communication system will be exempt from VAT.
In addition, telecommunications facilities and their land plots, on which central terrestrial stations, terminals, and other active satellite communication infrastructure devices are located, will also be exempt from property tax and land tax. Satellite communication network operators will also be exempt from profit tax for services rendered through the satellite communication system.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan would launch high-speed internet for remote regions. The authorities plan to exempt internet operators from a number of taxes.
