Minors will be allowed to obtain bank cards.
The Ministry of Justice provided information about the new amendments to the law.

Changes have been made to the rules for issuing and circulating bank cards in Uzbekistan, according to a decree issued by the Ministry of Justice.
According to the amendments, it will be possible to register a card independently from the age of 14. Children under 14 years old will be able to receive a card with the written consent of one of their parents or legal guardian. The document introduces two new types of cards:
- social cards — for the payment of benefits and material assistance to those in need;
- business cards — are issued to individual entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals for payment acceptance.
Recall that banks in Uzbekistan were penalized for shortcomings in disclosing information. Each institution received a fine of more than 100 million soums.
