Dollar exchange rate plummeted to 12,100 in a week

The NOVA24 editorial board decided to calculate the exchange rate changes for the week from September 22 to September 29.

Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of the week were as follows:

• Dollar — 12 349,87 soums;
• Euro — 14 524,68 soums;
• Pound — 16 678,50 soums;
• Ruble — 148,15 soums;
• Yuan — 1 736,17 soums;
• Yen — 83,47 soums;
• Tenge — 22,82 soums.

During the week, the quotes underwent some changes. All currencies have depreciated against the soum:

• The dollar — 12,138.67 soums, decreasing weekly by 211.20 soums;
• Euro — 14,176.75 soums, decrease over the week — 347.93 soums;
• Pound — 16,208.77 soums, decrease over the week — 469.73 soums;
• The Russian ruble is 145.36 soums, a decrease of 2.79 soums per week;
• Yuan — 1,701.55 soums, a decrease of 34.62 soums per week;
• Yen — 81.04 soums, decrease by 2.43 soums per week;
• The tenge is 22.28 soums, a decrease of 0.54 soums per week.
