Dollar and euro prices rose sharply — as exchange rates changed in a week

The editorial staff decided to calculate the change in foreign exchange rates for the week from December 1 to December 9, 2025.

Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of the week were as follows:

• Dollar – 11,902.30 soums;
• Euro — 13 780,48 soums;
• Pound of sterling— 15 727,70 soums;
• Ruble — 152,18 soums;
• Chinese yuan — 1 680,40 soums;
• Yen — 76,12 soums.

During the week, quotations demonstrated growth for all major currencies. The highest growth was shown by the ruble, the lowest — by the US dollar:

• The dollar – 11,990.09 soums, an increase of 87.79 soums per week;
• Euro – 13,974.45 soums, an increase of 193.97 soums per week;
• Фунт стерлингов — 16 001,97 сумов, рост за неделю 274,27 сумов;
• Ruble – 157.95 soums, an increase of 5.77 soums per week;
• Chinese yuan – 1,696.08 soums, an increase of 15.68 soums per week;
• Japanese yen – 77.40 soums, an increase of 1.28 soums per week.
