The Central Bank revoked the license from Yangi bank for unresolved violations, and a liquidation commission was convened, according to the Central Bank’s press service.
According to the department, the measures taken to eliminate the identified violations in the bank’s activities have not yielded sufficient results. In particular, the authorized capital of Yangi bank was never brought to the minimum level established by law, and certain requirements of the law on banks and banking activities were not fulfilled.
Compensation for guaranteed deposits of Yangi Bank depositors will be paid by the Deposit Insurance Agency in the manner and amounts established by law. According to preliminary calculations, out of 32,526 depositors, 32,153 will receive full compensation for their guaranteed deposits, and for 373 citizens, the remaining portion of the guaranteed deposits will be returned in accordance with the procedure established by law, according to the decision of the liquidation commission.
The issue is under the constant control of the Central Bank, the process is monitored in stages, and the public is regularly informed, — the report said.
Recall that the Central Bank approved the rules for conducting events with “secret clients” in banks. The specialists plan to check in this way whether the institutions comply with the requirements for customer service.
