News spread on social media that due to the new system, bills for electricity will not be accepted.
A message circulated on social media about problems with electricity payments from October 30th to November 5th. The REN commented on the information.
Information appeared that the operator will suspend the billing system to switch to a new accounting procedure. The billing system will supposedly be unavailable until November 6th, causing customers with outstanding debts to be left without electricity for up to a week. The REN reported that this information is completely unfounded and does not correspond to reality.
Currently, the company is not carrying out any work to transition to the new accounting system, — the statement said.
Recall that Uzbekistan wants to limit the sudden power outages for entrepreneurs. The Deputy Business Ombudsman said that the relevant procedure is being developed.
