Two motorists and a female cyclist organized a race in Qarshi — video

The girl was placed under administrative arrest, and the drivers of the cars were stripped of their driver's licenses.

On October 14, a video circulated on social media showing a motorcyclist organizing a race with two drivers. The Road Safety Department commented on the incident.

It was revealed that the race took place on October 13 at approximately 1:00 AM in Qarshi, Surkhandarya region. The footage shows a car driver offering to compete with a motorcyclist in speed on a central street. The girl agrees, after which all three start moving at high speed and grossly violate the traffic rules.

According to the department, a resident of Andijan region was driving the motorcycle. She didn’t have a driver’s license. She was found guilty of part 1 of Article 128-10 (Traffic hooliganism), Article 183 (Petty hooliganism), as well as Article 194 (Failure to comply with the lawful demands of internal affairs officers).

She was detained for three days and fined 25 BRV (10.3 million soums). The Gentra driver was sentenced to one year of driver’s license suspension, 5 days of administrative arrest, and a fine of 10.3 million soums.

Recall that in Samarkand, two BMW M5 drivers organized a race on city streets. The racers were held accountable.
