On October 15th, information circulated on social media about the “slip” of the republican stage of the Mathematics Olympiad. The Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions commented on the incident.
According to the department, the questions of this Olympiad were compiled by the Olympiad Center in subjects and are published centrally in each region. In this regard, in the headquarters organized in the DPSE in the regions, some employees showed irresponsible attitude towards their duties in the process of printing issues. As a result, the materials were “combined”.
Currently, the individuals involved in this incident are being identified and will be held accountable. An investigation into the case has begun.
The district (city) stage of the Main Olympiad in mathematics will be held again for each grade (9-10-11 grades). The Olympiad Center is interested in conducting all stages transparently, fairly, and objectively.
