A plane from Seoul to Tashkent diverted to an alternate airport in Samarkand due to thick fog, “Новости ташкентского неба” reports.
Qanot Sharq’s QNT822 passenger flight from Seoul to Tashkent departed for an alternate airport in Samarkand. The crew made the decision to leave due to unfavorable weather conditions at the destination airport – overcooling fog, visibility dropped to 50 meters, and the lower edge of cloud cover was 100 meters.
This is the second time this aircraft has left for a reserve airfield, yesterday the crew from Seoul left for a reserve one – Navoi, now attempted to fly from Navoi to Tashkent, but also unsuccessfully, — the message says.
As a reminder, dozens of flights were unable to land in Tashkent due to fog. At the moment, restrictions on the acceptance and release of aircraft have already been lifted.
