The number of casualties in a tragic road accident has risen in Angren
Officials were advised to offer medical, material, and psychological support to the families of those who had died.

The number of victims of the terrible road accident in Angren has increased from 7 to 11 people, Daryo reports, citing the order of Fergana region’s governor, Khairullo Bozorov, which has now been dismissed.
The document, signed on 9 September, states that as a result of the accident, six people received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalised. The order requires the deputy governors of the region and relevant organisations to identify those who died in the road traffic accidents.
Furthermore, they were required to provide medical, material, psychological, and other forms of. support to their families and victims. Comprehensive measures regarding the burial of the deceased are also planned. It is noted that the numberrisen from 7 to 11 people.
The causes of accidents will be analysed, and to prevent similar incidents in the future, it is advised to conduct a survey of road transport infrastructure, study the best foreign practices and adapt them, as well as develop well-founded proposals for amending cargo transportation regulations, — the document states.
As a reminder, the horrific accident took place on 7th September in Angren, Tashkent region. The driver of a Shacman cement truck, born in 1981 and with 15 years of experience, lost control. He collided at the railway crossing with two trucks and five cars.
At that time, reports stated that as a result of the incident, 7 people died instantly, and 5 people were hospitalised with various injuries. Additionally, 4 individuals received medical treatment and were sent home. A criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of Article 266 (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles). The perpetrators face up to 10 years in prison. An investigation has commenced.
