In the Jizzakh region, a girl fell into a toilet pit and was able to call rescuers herself, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The incident took place on 4 September in the Yuldoshboy settlement of Bakhmal district. The girl fell into a toilet in the yard of a private house. Coincidentally, no one was nearby at the time. She had her phone with her, from which she called the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene. Emergency services officers assisted the child in escaping from the trap, and there were no concerns about his health.
Earlier, it was reported that shower rooms and toilets in Uzbekistan’s schools will be improved. New social institutions will start to build toilets inside the building rather than outside.
