From January 15, the online census of the population and agriculture sector began in Uzbekistan, however, it began with disruptions.

Within 17 days, citizens can register remotely on the census.stat.uz official website using the OneID system. The online census is available for Uzbek citizens and compatriots temporarily staying abroad — registration is possible from anywhere in the world through a unified identification system.

In addition, it was reported that valuable prizes will be drawn randomly among citizens who have passed the online census. The organizers urged the country’s residents to actively participate in the census. However, citizens later encountered a problem — the department’s website stopped opening.

The authorities explained the error as short-term technical malfunctions due to a large number of users visiting the site simultaneously. This situation is related to the high load on the website. Currently, measures are being taken to increase the capacity of the servers and ensure the stable operation of the system.

We ask citizens to try again after some time. All data is securely protected. We apologize for the inconvenience caused, — the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the preparations for the census in Uzbekistan. The Head of State instructed to conduct the process at a high organizational level.
