The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow denied that its staff beat a man
The attackers proved to be agents of a different country.

On September 3, news circulated on social networks that a Russian citizen had been assaulted near the Embassy of Uzbekistan. The Embassy’s press service issued a statement regarding the incident.
According to Readovka, a man was returning from a walk with a dog near the Uzbek embassy and noticed a car parked improperly. He made a remark to the people inside it — in response, he first received threats, then was assaulted. The victim stated that the attackers were employees of the Uzbek embassy.
He also stated that the workers allegedly tried to smash his phone to prevent the recording of their faces from going online. The man wrote a statement to the police. He claims that people from the embassy visited the attackers in the department.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation responded to the incident. According to the department, it took place on 31 August in Moscow. It is stated that the car featured in the photos and the individuals involved have no connection to the Embassy.
“The diplomatic licence plate of the motor vehicle belongs to the diplomatic mission of another country. Any attempts to attribute responsibility to the Embassy for the incident are groundless and unacceptable. In this regard, the Embassy urges the public and the media to refrain from disseminating unverified information”, — the message says.
Recall that in Navoi, a drunk restaurant visitor beat a man. The attacker was identified as a friend of Paralympic champion Elbek Sultonov, who was nearby but did not participate in the conflict.
