School workers died after drinking technical alcohol
Law enforcement officers are conducting a pre-trial investigation.
In the Andijan region, two employees of a general education school died from poisoning after consuming technical alcohol, the press service of the Regional Department of Public Education reported.
According to the information, the incident occurred on October 22 in the local school №36 in Andijan. The head of the school’s economic department, the head of the civil defense club, the guard, and one of the teachers stayed at the educational institution for dinner and drank technical alcohol.
As a result, all four citizens were poisoned. The farm manager and the guard died. The department also noted that the school principal did not participate in the event and left home after the workday. Currently, law enforcement officers are conducting a pre-trial investigation and determining all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, it was reported that a woman in Tashkent drank two liters of antifreeze and was seriously poisoned. The woman could have mixed the car fluid with regular juice.
