In Tashkent, the operation of a private clinic where a patient died has been suspended

A criminal case has been initiated under the article on improper performance of professional duties.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the patient’s death at a private clinic in Tashkent, and the medical facility’s operations have been suspended, the Supreme Court’s press service reported.

According to the department, on November 29, a criminal case was initiated against the doctors of the private clinic under Article 116 (Improper performance of professional duties). The clinic’s activities have been officially suspended based on the decision of the district sanitary-epidemiological welfare and public health service.

All procedural actions, including arrests, are carried out in full compliance with the law and guarantee a fair and impartial trial, — the statement said.

Recall that on November 12, a 31-year-old man died in Tashkent after applying to a private clinic for nasal surgery. The deceased’s wife said she had sent the test results to the cardiologist via Telegram and received confirmation that the patient’s heart was normal and there were no contraindications for surgery, however, the correspondence was later deleted.
