In Tashkent, the director burst into a first-grade classroom and shouted at the teacher — video

The man did not reply to the request not to scare the children, and an investigation into the situation commenced.

On 11 September, a video circulated on social media showing a school principal shouting at teachers directly in the classroom with first-graders. The Uchtepa district administration commented on the incident.

It turned out that the incident took place at school No62. The footage shows the school principal breaking into the first-grade classroom during a lesson and beginning to shout at the teacher. He is asked not to scare the children with his shouting, but he does not react and continues to speak loudly.

According to Oybek Rahmonberdiyev, the deputy governor of Uchtepa district, an investigation has begun into the situation. According to preliminary data, the incident was captured on video by university students who were undergoing practical training at this school in October 2024 during preparations for the autumn-winter season.

In October 2024, the district administration and the district’s Department of Public Education reported that the headteacher had received a warning for actions that go against pedagogical ethics and behavioural norms. Based on the findings of the investigation carried out by the commission members, further information will be provided.

Recall that in Uzbekistan, illegal religious schools were uncovered, where children were severely beaten. Parents paid for their education despite visible bruises and injuries.
