In Tashkent, due to construction work, an intersection was temporarily closed and several buses changed their routes, the press service of the Main Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the capital reports.
According to the information, the intersection of Bektemir Road and Big Ring Road in the Bektemir district has been temporarily closed since September 21st due to ongoing construction work. In this regard, specialists have changed the route of buses No. 39, 45, 68, 93, 110, 117, 128, 130, which will now run along temporary roundabouts around the intersection.
Also, citizens were warned that due to repair work, the intervals and times of buses may be longer than usual, resulting in traffic jams. Residents and guests of the capital were asked to apologize for the inconvenience caused and to plan the routes in advance.
Earlier, it was reported that in Uzbekistan, toll roads can only be built if there is a free alternative. The cost of travel on such roads will be assessed taking into account the interests of the population and businesses.
