In Tashkent region, SSS officers uncovered a family OCG involved in drug trafficking.

The criminals also involved their children in the circulation of prohibited substances.

In Tashkent, Tashkent, and Fergana regions, law enforcement officers seized more than 10 kg of marijuana, hashish, and potent drugs, the State Security Service press service reported.

In the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, a whole family was involved in drug trafficking. During the search of the houses, 9 kg of marijuana, a bush of cannabis, as well as pneumatic and cold weapons, ammunition, cartridges, and a club were found. Previously, men had already been prosecuted for drug crimes.

They also involved their 22-year-old sons in the crime. In their accomplice’s house, packets of cannabis and smoking accessories were found. All items were seized as material evidence. Criminal cases have been initiated against the detainees. An investigation is underway.

In the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, a Cobalt driver was found to have nearly a kilogram of hashish. His accomplice was found to have another 2 kg, the men were detained. Criminal cases have been initiated against them under Articles 246 (Smuggling) and 273 (Illegal manufacture, acquisition, storage, and other actions with narcotic drugs, their analogues, or psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale, as well as their sale).

In the Fergana region, a 69-year-old man was seized from 6.8 thousand tablets of the potent Zardex drug, allegedly imported from Kyrgyzstan bypassing routes. The value of the batch is estimated at over 400 million soums. A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is underway.

As a reminder, half a hundred students in Uzbekistan have been caught in drug-related crimes. Since the beginning of 2025, law enforcement officers have uncovered 23% more such crimes compared to the same period in 2024.
