A video circulated on social media showing teachers abusing children with disabilities at Specialized Kindergarten № 30 in Chirchik. The Regional Department of the National Social Protection Agency commented on the incident.
During the inspection, the actions of the educators were given a legal assessment and they were dismissed. Also, explanatory talks were held with parents and educators with the participation of the Children’s Ombudsman and law enforcement officers.
The building of the specialized kindergarten is currently under repair, in connection with which the pupils were temporarily placed in the neighboring kindergarten, where the incident occurred, — the message says.
Recall that inclusive schools for children with special educational needs will appear in Uzbekistan. The measures are outlined in the government decree.
