In Tashkent region, a prisoner escaped from the colony and raped a child
It was revealed that the man was serving a sentence for sexual assault on a minor, who was apprehended by local residents and handed over to law enforcement.

Information circulated on social media that a convict in the Tashkent region escaped from the colony and raped a child. The regional Department of Internal Affairs commented on the incident but did not mention the girl’s condition.
It was revealed that the incident occurred on October 16 in the Ohangaron district. A 31-year-old convict, who fled from the colony-settlement №50 during labor work, raped a 3rd-grade student, after which he was detained by local residents in a field.
In 2018, he was sentenced to 16 years in prison under Article 118, Part 4 of the Criminal Code (Rape of a person under the age of 14) and sentenced to 2033 years in prison. By court decision in August 2024, he was transferred to a settlement colony to serve the remaining 9 years 2 months and 19 days of his sentence.
According to the Department of Internal Affairs, a new criminal case has been initiated against the individual under Article 119, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Sexual needs to be satisfied in a distorted form with the use of force) for actions against a minor girl. He was detained and arrested. Nothing is known about the girl’s condition.
Recall that a similar incident occurred in the Yangiqo’rg’on district of Namangan region. A 38-year-old man came to his uncle’s wedding, where the house owner’s seven-year-old granddaughter was also present. The suspect defrauded the child and committed sexual acts against her. It turned out that he was released early.
The injured girl is currently in intensive care. Law enforcement officers found out that the detainee had already served two prison sentences for similar crimes, including rape and sexual assault.
