In Tashkent region, a lawyer from the khokimiyat was caught taking a bribe of one and a half thousand dollars
The man promised to register a plot of land on the khokimiyat's balance sheet in the citizen's name through his acquaintances.
In the Tashkent region, law enforcement officers detained a legal advisor from the Ohangaron district administration for bribery, the State Security Service press service reported.
According to the information, the man promised to help his acquaintance with the registration of a residential house located in the “Eyvalek” mahalla and on the balance sheet of the khokimiyat for $1,500. The official promised to register the property in his name through his high-ranking acquaintances.
As a result, law enforcement officers detained a man with explosives while receiving money. It is noted that the man had previously been brought to court several times. A criminal case has been initiated against the detained patrol officer under Article 168, Part 3, Clause “p” (Fraud committed using official position) and Article 211, Part 1, (Giving a bribe). Currently, investigative actions are underway.
Earlier, it was reported that an official and a law enforcement officer were caught taking a large bribe in Tashkent region. The perpetrators promised the citizen for money to help resolve the issue related to the criminal case.
