In Tashkent, passengers got stuck between metro stations — video
The train remained motionless for almost 15 minutes.

On December 5, passengers got stuck between stations in the Tashkent metro. Eyewitnesses reported this to the NOVA24 bot. Responsible authorities have not yet issued a statement on the incident.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 11:57 AM. The passenger train got stuck between “Pakhtakor” and “Gafur Gulom” stations. It is reported that the train remained motionless for almost 15 minutes. According to eyewitnesses, one of the passengers’ health deteriorated, requiring medical attention.
The metro press service reported that at 11:55 AM, a technical malfunction was recorded on the 39th passenger train traveling between “Gafur Gulom” and “Alisher Navoi” stations. Because of this, the train stopped for 6 minutes. For maintenance, the train was stopped and sent for technical inspection.
As a reminder, residents of Tashkent complained about traffic jams in the metro. The metro administration reported on the measures being taken to reduce intervals between trains. In addition, the department appealed to passengers to comply with the rules for using the metro.
Earlier, it was also reported that it would be possible to reach the new airport from Tashkent in half an hour. The authorities want to lay a new metro line.
