In Tashkent, drivers didn’t divide the road and started a fight — video

As a result of the conflict, a pregnant passenger lost her baby.

On September 21, a video circulated on social media showing two drivers not sharing the road and fighting, resulting in a pregnant woman losing her baby. The Department of Internal Affairs commented on the incident.

It was revealed that the incident occurred on March 19th between Lacetti and BYD drivers on Muqimiy Street in the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent. The Lacetti driver was redirecting to the right lane, while the BYD driver started honking and blocking his movement.

Then the BYD driver, along with his father, attacked the Lacetti driver. They broke the car window and insulted the man. They also used physical force against his pregnant wife, causing her to lose her child. All the guilty parties were detained. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of the child’s death.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 277 (Hooliganism). After the conclusion of the examination, the qualification of the case may be reviewed and tightened. For now, under this article, the perpetrators face up to three years in prison. An investigation is underway.

Recall that in the Samarkand region, a KIA driver hit workers who were blocking the road due to repairs. The man explained that his passenger was in a great hurry.
