In Tashkent, a young man injured a schoolboy with a sharp object

Reports circulated on social media about a fight among schoolchildren in Tashkent. According to the Department, the incident took place on 11 September at approximately 10:30 PM near house No. 2 in the Mirobod district.

A boy born in 2005 was walking with his peer when a verbal argument erupted between them and a group of schoolchildren. During the altercation, the boys argued with one of them — a minor named Sh. O. (born in 2008).

During the height of the quarrel, a young man injured a schoolboy with a sharp object. The victim is in hospital, and his condition is being monitored by medical staff.

A criminal case has been opened by the Investigative Department of the Mirobod District Police on charges of hooliganism (Article 277 of the Criminal Code). Investigative procedures are ongoing, and a legal decision will be made based on their findings.
