In Tashkent, a man pretended to be a SSS and presidential administration employee

The citizen counterfeited documents and thus solved his personal problems.

In Tashkent, DXX officers detained a fake State Security Service employee, the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs reports.

The incident occurred on Shota Rustaveli Street in Yakkasaray district. Traffic police officers stopped the Lacetti and asked the driver to show their documents. Then the citizen stated that he is a State Security Service officer. He presented the inspectors with a certificate allegedly issued by the State Security Service.

He also asked to be released and called a certain “leader”, who, he claimed, held a high position, to “give the order” to release him. However, law enforcement officers, noticing suspicious behavior, verified this citizen’s data.

It turned out that the certificate was forged. The man was detained on the spot with evidence. It turned out that he had a criminal record. He has also repeatedly presented himself as an employee of the Presidential Administration or various law enforcement agencies. Under the guise of an “official”, he resolved his personal matters using pre-prepared fake certificates.

He was found guilty of “a”, “b” of part 2 of Article 228 and part 3 of Article 228 (Production, forgery of documents, stamps, seals, forms, their sale or use). He was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment with a sentence in a settlement colony.

As a reminder, cases involving fake firefighters have become more frequent in Uzbekistan. Scammers give advice and demand money for “annual payment”.
