In Tashkent, a driver attempted to escape from traffic police and hit a curb — video
The perpetrator had no documents with him, and his car was wanted.
A video circulated on social media showing the driver attempting to escape from traffic police and driving into the oncoming lane through the curb. The State Traffic Safety Department commented on the incident.
It was revealed that the accident occurred on October 27 around 10:00 AM in the Almazar district. The 37-year-old Leapmotor driver demanded the traffic police inspector and did not stop. The man turned and tried to hide, crossing the curb, but got stuck. During the inspection, it was revealed that the driver did not have the necessary documents, and the car was wanted.
An administrative report was filed against the man under Article 135 (Driving of vehicles by persons without documents provided for by the Road Patent) and Article 194 (Failure to comply with the lawful demands of an internal affairs officer). A preventive conversation was held with the driver, the car was placed in the impound lot.
As a reminder, a young couple was convicted in Tashkent for chasing traffic police officers. The young man and his girlfriend, while intoxicated, ran into several cars.
