The incident occurred in the Chilanzar district. Right on the street, a 33-year-old courier started harassing the girl. The passersby did not remain indifferent and detained him. It was they who called law enforcement officers to the 102 number. The court found him guilty under Article 41-1 (sexual harassment). He was given 5 days of arrest.
Recall that thousands of people in Uzbekistan were punished for harassment and domestic violence. Some of the violators got away with fines. Since the beginning of the year, 986 people have been held administratively liable for sexual harassment in the country.
